This 10-day laidback tour visits several of the
surfable coastlines in the South Java region. Your
Aussie guide will get you amongst the best uncrowded
waves of the day in some remote and rarely visited
surf spots. You’ll also have the opportunity
to take in the natural and cultural attractions on
offer in this amazing part of Indo. This trip’s
the ultimate mix of surf and culture so it’s
perfect for non-surfing partners as well! From pick
up to drop off you’ll be taken care of so you
can just kick back and make the most of your hassle-free
holiday.
Wavewise, the tour is suitable for surfers who
want to get amongst Indo’s tropical warm water
offerings but aren’t into grunty overhead reefbreaks
(suitable for beginner to intermediate surfers).
It’s mostly fun waves around the 3-4 foot mark
on offer; however there’s some more challenging
breaks around if the conditions are doing it.

ITINERARY |
Day 1-2 |
Airport pick up in Yogyakarta and chartered air-conditioned
transport to Java's south coast town of Pangandaran
- home to National Park rainforest, expansive beaches,
great local cafes serving Asian and European food,
fun waves (beachbreaks, lefthand reef, offshore secrets).
Spend 2 nights here. |
Day 3 -9 |
Morning departure by chartered transport from Pangandaran
to the surfside village of Batukaras (long righthand
pointbreak that rolls through a sandbotttom bay for
up to 400 metres). On the way to Batukaras you’ll
take a motorized canoe cruise through a tropical
water gorge to waterfalls and swimming holes.
Stay 7 nights at JavaCove Beach Hotel in an air-conditioned OCEAN VIEW
ROOM with hot water showers and views directly over the righthand pointbreak.
During your stay at Batu Keras you will take a 1 day boat trip to a
secret south coast reef break (more optional trips available if required)

Day 10 |
Morning departure by chartered vehicle from Batu
Keras to Yogyakarta, where you will stay one night.
From here you are free to explore the area (Borobudur
is a must see) before flying out. Your airport transfer
is included.
